Loomis Wedding, CA.
I was moved. Scott and Chelsey asked me to capture a few moments while Chelsey visited her father’s burial site in Loomis to honor and remember him, a emotional moment, even for me. It was a sacred moment. Part of me felt a little uneasy taking photographs, but this is what Chelsey wanted. With her father having passed almost eight years earlier, he still had a special place at the wedding with his own table of collectables, items associated with him. There were photographs of him, an old football hat, old tools, even a boutonniere and a tie to match the wedding theme, among other items. Scott and Chelsey are very kind people, filled with love and compassion, respectable, and friendly to all. During the reception, Scott played a skillful and moving song on the piano, very peaceful and captivating. This wedding was the first of three weddings I had to shoot that weekend for me, and it started out on a great note, inspiring. And while I don’t have time to blog every wedding, engagement session, and other sessions I photograph, weddings like this inspire. I know it will inspire others. Congratulations to an unconditional loving couple.
