What can I say? As a Kauai wedding photographer, I love these types of elopements. Intimate and small. They and their family were kind and gracious.  When I arrived to the Lihue airport later in the evening, I saw the milky way and the stars prominently displayed in the sky.  Wow. I knew I was going to photograph the couple with stars in the sky for their photos.

During the day, the Island was magical and tropical. I was waiting for a unicorn to pop out and photo bomb my couple.  The Na Aina Kai Botanical Gardens for which they were married is probably the best venue on Kauai to get married, with lush gardens, Kauai’s beach, ponds, acres and acres of rich trees. I almost felt like I was in the jungle at Disneyland with all the sounds, only it was real.  I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to photograph Cori and Michael’s intimate hawaii wedding and spend a little time with their gracious family. Congratulations to Michael and Cori and to their families.
