Everest wedding in 2015 and then in 2017. It was featured in the news and on popular TV shows, like the Kelly and Ryan Live show. Adventure Wedding Photography
Charleton’s likability has made him an easy choice among couples to work with for their day, and it’s no wonder he continues to receive exemplary ratings and referrals from couples, vendors and venues. As an adventure wedding photographer, Charleton even travels to many adventurous terrains around the world. Consequently, he made his first ascent towards Mount Everest base camp in 2015. He aimed to document the first wedding couple in wedding attire when the Nepal earthquake struck. The earthquake killed thousands and turned everyone off the mountain, including his team. However, that didn’t stop him from returning.
In March 2017, he took his second attempt and executed what he originally set out to accomplish. As a result, he became the first wedding photographer to capture a wedding couple hiking up to base camp, sporting a wedding gown and tuxedo. While Charleton travels, he spends much of his time photographing near his small town home in northern California with his wife and three daughters. Charleton photographs a maximum of forty weddings a year and is available for travel. He speaks at photography conferences and conventions internationally.
