I just finished photographing Joe and Rachel’s wedding last night at the Sonoma Garden Pavilion, a Wednesday wedding, which rarely happens. I usually post a handful of images from a wedding, and I know we captured some beautiful sunset images yesterday; images with the sun through the trees and through the vineyard, beautiful lighting as you typically see in some of my wedding blogs with wedding couples. I try to experiment and capture different images each time I shoot a wedding, try out new ideas, and push myself.
Here’s a unique and artistic image that stirred my heart and my imagination (even though there were other images in this set that were dramatic, posed, and in focus). This image creates mystery because I can’t exactly tell what’s going on, but I know it’s a couple and they are in love, enjoying their wedding day celebration. It creates romance because it’s a couple surrounded by a moody and colorfully lit pool in the later evening. It’s a magical and provokes me to wonderment. It even looks like a painting of some sort. This image allows me to visualize love in a repetitive manner without getting bored after a few minutes. I hope post some of their wedding day images soon.
(and I posted another one).
