Yesterday, I was able to hang out with some new friends Brian and Joy, and their beautiful daughter Chora (if I spelled that right?). Brian is the owner of Solid Rock Concrete. They are great people from Amador County, specifically near Ione.  Here are some preview photos of our session…

  • Charleton - I love the outdoor family western look in our county. The touch of the cowboy hat adds quite some character to the shot. He also looks good without the hat. The little girl was being good.October 8, 2009 – 6:52 pmReplyCancel

Wow, awesome photos today in Jackson, California! I had another fantastic time shooting Nicole for senior sessions. She was real easy to photograph. I had some ideas come to me while driving, so we ventured off our path to another place for photos. I love it when creativity tickles my imagination, and then you have to ask permission to drive on people’s property to get what you’re after. Later today, I shot a wedding of a couple who have had spouses pass, and now they are remarrying. It was beautiful. Short wedding, but sweet. Here are some awesome photos of the senior portraits I shot today. Next, I need to upload the wedding photos onto the computer, and then finish processing Julie hoyle’s wedding photos!!

Btw,…this week, I reserved three (3) more wedding dates, one near Modesto soon, and another in San Francisco next year,….really cool!! The other one is next month near Murphy’s, Ca. with Jen Arterbury assisting me as a second photographer (from Montana). It will be at Laraine’s Winery with a wonderful Bay area couple, Dana + Zui! Wow, are they organized!?! (Laraine winery looks like Napa, California).  Dana really does look like Olympic record breaker, Michael Phelps.

  • Charleton - Yes, they turned out fab! The clouds were great, diffusing the light and the rain never stopped you from having a good time. The odd red-shirt hiker was probably my favorite moment, him singing to all of us, and all.September 13, 2009 – 10:08 pmReplyCancel
