David and Angel’s winter wedding creative Bride and Groom session, which was photographed at and around Lake Tahoe. They had married in September 2013, and wanted the creative session after the wedding. Here are a few of their images. Congratulations to David and Angel, for not only getting married, but braving the cold windy weather!

Here are some images below where David and Angel were braving the wind and cold, (which was towards the end of our shoot), I think we were all finished. It was probably a difficult time to shoot because of all the wind, blowing hair, closing eyes, and trying to stay warm. They are a strong couple willing to do anything!

Tom and Gillian married in South Lake Tahoe at the most requested wedding venue, the Valhalla Grand Hall.  An amazing romantic setting, it’s knitted together with rustic hardwood floors, French doors, a record breaking 20ft. high fireplace layered with rock, wood rails, yes, I know its big.  And to top it off, a view of the lake from the back porch.  Since Lake Tahoe is a frequent destination for my wife and I, as well as our three daughters, I was thrilled to be driving up there for another wedding.  I shot with friend Mike Larson on this occasion, since I had a few days off from shooting my own weddings.  He’s a great guy and photographer who travels international and it’s always great when we connect. This day was perfect.  Then we moved into the evening reception and enjoyed a delightful dinner while offering heart-warming toasts.  Once dinner was over, the fun began, and many jumped into dancing, lined up for the photo booth, and let loose.  Many tears of joy and laughter were displayed and heard throughout the evening. I was glad to have participated in this wedding event. Here are a few images from that fall season wedding celebration.

  • Steffani Abercrombie - Love that place & have always wanted to shoot a wedding there. You should take Kelly & the girls back in the summer. You can rent bikes & ride around Valhalla and Pope estates, and they open the buildings for touring; it’s beautiful!October 28, 2010 – 2:32 pmReplyCancel

  • James M - Great pictures of Lake Tahoe! The Vahalla is a perfect place for wedding photography. I’m sure you have more to show off.October 29, 2010 – 9:11 pmReplyCancel

  • Charleton - Thank you for the comments. I really do love the Valhalla, really a warm beautiful enchanting event site for a wedding. It’s great that’s it’s private, and the guy at the front monitors who comes in and out. High class.November 4, 2010 – 3:25 pmReplyCancel
