It’s fantastic to finally post some of the memorable photographs from Cary and Anissa’s engagement session I photographed in multiple Los Angeles locations. We started out with some warm up shots in the Hills of Malibu. Then we headed over to downtown Los Angeles, near the Staples Center and ESPN, where we captured images down in the subway, on the streets, and other busy areas. After that, we drove over to the LA Dodger Stadium for most of the images. If you didn’t read my recent post, Cary is the Grandson of the late great Hall of Fame baseball player, Roy Campanella, who is shown in one of the photographs below. Needless to say, we had access almost anywhere. We shot in the dugout, inside the club lounge, on the stadium organ, the news network area, at the top of the stadium, and other areas. We were hoping for field images, but it was raining and the white tarp was covering the bases. Lastly, we went over to the Santa Monica pier for our sunset beach photography. We had them both in the water with their nice clothes on. Typically for a bride and groom, after the wedding, there is an optional “trash the dress” session in which the bride and groom get wet and/or dirty, in order to show off their adventurous side and get some fun images. We had the same thing going on here at the Santa Monica engagement session. Great day!
I’m anticipating an exciting wedding celebration with Cary and Anissa on their wedding day at a Resort in Los Angles in 2011.
